Kristen A. McMullen is an associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach Office. Ms. McMullen graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and a minor in Art History. She received her Juris Doctorate with an International Law Certificate with honors from The Florida State University College of Law. During law school, she studied at Oxford University, engaged in simulated international trade with China’s Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, and interned with a commercial and corporate law firm in Nassau, Bahamas.
Ms. McMullen began her legal career with a criminal defense firm and remained actively involved in community organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc., Tallahassee Barristers Association (President, 2013-2014); The Florida Bar (Annual Convention committee); Florida Association of Women Lawyers (2014 Leader in the Law); Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter – National Bar Association, and others.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McMullen practiced insurance defense with a focus on first party property coverage matters, premises liability, and SIU claims. Her practice areas include first and third party defense, wrongful death, construction litigation, and general liability. Ms. McMullen is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
